The Meaning of Academy

Is a series of studies in order to obtain a wide and open knowledge of a subject from all the perspectives and point of view, our effort is to avoid some superficial proposal of other teaching organizations.

 

The Purposes

To prepare not only good players with good technique, but also complete divulgators of popular traditions, important for a musical patrimony that deserve of being preserved.

Popular and reinassence repertory for 3nd year students.

 

 

 

The student at the end of the path in holding a very good instrumental technique, a solid theoric basis and an ensemble pratice more than enough to let him intereact well with other musicians, then a cultural base useful to integrate his/her skills and to set off them in all contextes (concert, workshop, lesson, etc.)

Celtic and Anglosaxon music and the relationships with italian traditional music.

Ancient

Medieval, reinassence and baroque music, european repertory from an italian point of view.

For: all instruments (except accordion and ocarina) and singing

Typical Course: Hurdy-Gurdy
